DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES
LOUIS XIII® Waterproofing HARD FUND is an ideal primer or first coat for woods intended to be waxed or varnished. Sets stains, fills pores and hardens wood fibers.
QUALITIES
-Waterproofing.
-It is applied before varnish or wax.
-Very easy to apply.
-Modify the wood stain very slightly.
-Drying between two coats: 4 hours. Complete: 8 hours.
SUPPORT PREPARATION
It is essential that the wood is new or correctly stripped, and well sanded. To modify the wood stain, first apply LOUIS XIII® Alcohol-based WOOD STAIN or LOUIS XIII® BROU DE NOIX concentrate, or LOUIS XIII® OAK AGING. After drying, sand lightly to even out the wood fibers and remove dust.
HOW TO USE
Apply a coat of LOUIS XIII® waterproofing HARD FUND using the LOUIS XIII® COTTON WICK. After 4 hours, sand the surface and repeat it. Let dry for 8 hours, and finish with a light pass of the LOUIS XIII® STEEL WOOL No. 000
CLEANING: Acetone
COVERING POWER
500 ml. = ± 5 m2 per coat, under normal application conditions and depending on the porosity of the wood.
Remarks:
-Replaces Insolating Wood Finish Louis XIII with solvent.
-Average use 10 m2/liter/coat.
